Sometimes I get a reaction from people when they ask me what my profession is, ohh you are well. Everyone is a yoga teacher these days. Well, maybe you think we do not need more yoga teachers, or maybe, we do!!!
The world defiantly needs more people who advocate for peace, non-harm, fewer judgments, more freedom & less conditioning. It needs more people to look after society’s physical & mental health and to call for compassion & love. That is what a yoga teacher is, maybe you think there are too many of us, or you think it is about performing hard or fancy poses, or you think it is all about the look. Well, I don’t care. (and I will take the permeation to say it on behave on us all, we don’t care)
We love what we do, yes, sometimes it is a hustle, and other times is stressful and tiring. But you know what!! It is amazingly rewarding. Being able to hold a safe space for someone else, watching them grow, heal, cultivate physical & mental awareness, get over their challenges on & off the mat, and witnessing the big grateful smile at the end of the class is extremely satisfying.
A Yoga teacher is not only a profession, it’s a path of ongoing learning, growing, healing, and evolving. It is a life of balance between struggle & ease, it is finding the seat of our souls.
I think there is a lot in every profession and no one seems to bother, but maybe they notice us more because we are the happy & free ones who are always glowing and able to make the change in people’s life.
Yoga teachers YOU ARE AWSOME KEEP SHINING YOUR LIGHT ON ERTH.
